Surgical complications

- Complications of Oophorectomy (Ovary Removal)

  1. Surgical site infection.
  2. Bleeding (localized, requiring intervention if severe).
  3. Anesthesia risks, including severe allergic reactions and anaphylactic shock.
  4. Intestinal injury due to proximity to the surgical site.
  5. Bladder injury due to its closeness to the uterus and ovaries.
  6. Ureter injury due to its proximity to the uterine artery (rare but possible).
