Anemia in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

- Scope and purpose

This guideline is concerned with providing guidance and recommendation on diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of anemia for all CKD patients (ND, D, PD) including use of iron, ESAs, red blood cell transfusion and new evidence of novel anemia as, hypoxia inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor (HIF-PHI).It also provide a useful guidance for clinicians by providing actionable recommendations to implement these opportunities in clinical practice to improve prognosis of CKD patients via treatment of renal anemia.
