This guideline outlines the frequent inoculation of fluid therapy in the treatment of many conditions in horses with diagnoses of equine dehydration and the physiological principles that underly the use of fluids types, volumes  and routes of administration for rehydration to become an effective treatment , it is important that the proposed strategies are incorporated into routine protocols and staff training.
