ability to swallow food properly.
Chronic diseases:
Diseases such as Alzheimer's or muscle disorders that make it difficult to
eat orally.
Long-term nutritional needs:
When long-term feeding is required due to chronic diseases or injuries.
Pediatric feeding needs:
Some children with growth problems or eating difficulties may require
feeding through a gastrostomy.
