1- Inhalation of toxic gases such as butane gas
2- Drowning in cases of water entering the trachea
3- Strangulation or hanging in cases of suicide
4- Foreign body aspiration into the trachea, especially in children and the elderly
5- Diaphragmatic paralysis in children
6- Diphtheria of the throat
